Jobs go as door firm closes down

SOME 23 jobs have been lost at Cheshire door business Johnson Aldridge.
Administrators from the Manchester office of MCR were appointed to the Knutsford-based business last month.
A spokesman for MCR said the company was badly affected by the collapse of its main supplier in China.
Johnson Aldridge specialised in supplying wooden internal and external doors. MCR was seeking a going concern sale but could not find a buyer.
The business has now closed and gone into liquidation.
