CHESTER PR agency de Winter has promoted 22-year old Jenna Vernon to account manager level.

Jenna, who only graduated in 2010, was put on the firm’s fast-track management training scheme after just six months.

Kate Cox, managing director at de Winter said: “Jenna showed huge amounts of resourcefulness and has a great passion for excellent communication. She used her initiative to get her foot in the door here at the agency, and it was clear from the outset that she has a huge appetite to further herself and the agency.

“We regularly guest lecture at the University and one of the key topics we constantly push is to gain as much work experience and to use your initiative wherever possible to win the attention of agencies and potential recruiters. Jenna has bucket loads of this and we are very proud of her achievements here to date. She is a very valued member of the team here and we can’t wait to see what 2012 brings!”

Working with clients including Trigon Snacks, Grosvenor Shopping Centre and Deafness Support Network, Jenna also leads de Winter’s digital division and manages the agency’s largest social media account.

SALFORD Quays-based RTS Media has been hired by newly-formed social housing consultancy Single Access Funding Housing Solutions to help it win support from banks, MPs, local authorities and key central government figures.

The business is the brainchild of former social worker Phil Shanks who has secured an initial £20m worth of bank funding to kick off the new special needs housing solutions business.

Christina Savage, director at RTS Media, says: ““SAF’s funding solution can reduce the cost of providing specialist accommodation by as much as 30%. That is a very strong message and one which lends itself well to a national awareness campaign.”

ACTIVE Profile, the PR and marketing agency, has secured a project to work with regeneration consortium Higher Broughton Partnership as part of a strategic PR campaign to support the next phases of its developmen in Salford.

The Liverpool and Manchester firm launched the campaign with two  announcements about the partnership including a £9m agreement to develop a health and retail scheme and a planning application submission for 80 new homes.

Managing director, Anna Heyes said: “Our property and professional services client base is continuing to grow rapidly and we look forward to seeing development projects like this really take off in the coming months.”

JUDGE & Howard, the Manchester PR and communications agency has been appointed by Synectic Systems Group  a  developer and manufacturer of integrated security systems – following a comprehensive selection process that saw an initial shortlist of eight agencies brought down to a pitch list of three.

The agency has also announced a move from its Triangle base to larger premises in the Grade II listed Piccadilly House development in central Manchester, to accommodate its growing team. The agency was set up in 2009 by Suzanne Judge and Libby Howard.
