Last Pochin leaves the construction group’s board

THE last member of the Pochin family on the main board of the Cheshire construction group that carries their name has left the business.

In a short statement Pochin’s said David Pochin was leaving, with immediate effect after 22 years, “to pursue his career elsewhere”.

Mr Pochin was managing director of the Middlewich-based group’s concrete pumping division and sat on the main board as a construction services director.

“The board of Pochin’s announces that Mr D Pochin, the concrete pumping division’s managing director, after 22 years service, has resigned from the board and will be leaving the Company with immediate effect, to pursue his career elsewhere,” the company said.

“The board wishes to thank Mr Pochin for his valued contribution to the development of the company over that time and to wish him well for the future.”
