Done hails £48m Peninsula move

PENINSULA Business Services, the employment law firm has moved into its £48m new head office.

The building was developed for Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula and is owned by the Done family’s Rainy City Properties and managed by DTZ. 

The 12-storey, 147,000 sq ft building, aptly called The Peninsula, lies in the Green Quarter and is a five minute walk into the heart of the city centre.

Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula said:”I’m thrilled, it’s a dream come true. We’ve been looking forward to this day for many years and now that we are here it’s great.

“It’s a state of the art building, modern and fresh with fantastic facilities for both staff and visitors. The fact that you can see the building from miles away is great, it’s most certainly a landmark.

Mr Done added:  “Our management team have been great in overseeing the move. I remember when we first set up the business we had a small office on Chapel Street, 20 years later I’m proud to say we occupy a state of the art building in the city centre.

It is believed The Peninsula is the biggest ever owner-occupier transaction in Manchester city centre.

In addition Peninsula Business Services, havstaken occupancy of the whole building with the intention of letting floors 7-12, totaling 69,492 sq ft.
