Orders accumulate at IT security firm

SALFORD-based IT Security services firm said it has “continued to make good progress” in the three months to June 30, and was trading in line with expectations.

The company has completed the acquisition of the Edge Seven software business, which has won £500,000 worth of orders from two European financial services firms since the deal was announced.

The company also said that its Webscreen product which protects clients’ websites from Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, has also just landed a £200,000 order from a travel website.

“This order demonstrates the increasing demand from businesses for protection from attacks on websites and other key systems connected to the web,” it said.
