NATIONAL law firm, Gateley has boosted its Manchester corporate recovery team with three new hires.
Partner Richard Healey associate Vicki Bates and solicitor Danielle Haston, have joined from the Manchester office of Howes Percival.
Mr Healey has significant expertise in recovering the proceeds of fraud on behalf of victims with a particular specialism in pursuing those culpable for tax evasion, having been principal external legal advisor to HMRC’s Specialist Investigations Directorate for eight years. He recently advised HMRC on all aspects arising from the administration of Glasgow Rangers Football Club.
Office managing partner in Manchester, Rod Waldie said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard and the team to the firm. They will add weight to our corporate Recovery team in Manchester which has strength and versatility in a range of areas specifically in the retail, pensions, automotive, technology, manufacturing and professional services sectors.”

KUITS, the Manchester law firm has announced three new hires, with
solicitors Craig Oldale and James Skivington joining the employment and corporate departments respectively while Kathryn Parrish, who trained at the firm, has qualified into the commercial litigation and recoveries team.
In the last 18 months Kuits headcount has grown from 124 to 145. Managing partner Steve Eccleston said: ““It is part of our continued strategy to broaden and strengthen the quality of service we provide to clients.
“We have seen growth in our employment, employment and litigation teams and are delighted to welcome Craig, James and Kathryn to the firm to help bolster these areas.”

NICHE Cheshire family law firm James Maguire & Co has appointed Henry Venables and Lisa Brown as associates.
The pair, who have joined from DWF, are reunited at the Wilmslow firm with founder and principal James Maguire, a former partner at DWF.
The duo are known for their work and expertise in matrimonial finance and also cases involving children.

CHESTER C&C Catering Equipment has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Mark Hother.
Mr Hother, who worked for the specialist contractor in the 1990s, will focus on winning new business in Wales.
Managing director Peter Kitchin says, “We already have a fantastic sales team and Mark will only help to boost it further. He’s hardworking and passionate about what we do. It’s great to have him back with us.”
