Deloitte to invest in young talent with 60 ‘entry level’ posts

DELOITTE, one of the region’s largest accountancy firms with 850 staff at its Liverpool and Manchester offices, is again creating 60 “entry level” positions in the North West.

The opportunities include jobs for school leavers after A-Levels, and university graduates. The roles cover various areas of the firm, including audit, tax and corporate finance. The firm says 50 roles will be based in Manchester and the remainder in Liverpool.
 
Applications are invited from students at any school or university, and with any degree discipline.
 
Jane Boardman, partner in charge of talent at Deloitte in the North West, said: “These 60 new roles, the same number of positions we created for school leavers and graduates in 2012, demonstrate the firm’s commitment to talent and the North West.

The firm’s BrightStart scheme for post A-Level students allows candidates to study towards a professional qualification in audit, tax or corporate finance.
