Media Mix: de Winter’s creative deal & Weavers sweet on Custard

CHESTER-based PR and marketing agecy de Winter, which is celebrating its 21st birthday this year, has acquired kmcreative.

Design and production specialist kmcreative, has close links with de Winter – and is based in the same office block.

The business, which specialises in corporate identity design, marketing and online design and development has been bought from kmcreative founder Kerry Maddrell who is retiring.

Recent wins for the de winter and kmcreative teams include Chester University, Powell Williams architects and Macdonald Hotels.

PRESTON-based Custard Media has been appointed by kitchen textile company, Ulster Weavers, to help promote its web offering via search, social media and online PR.

Custard will drive awareness of the County Down based textile company brand online, including their iconic Cats in Waiting, Rooster and vintage style collections, via press release distribution, link building, blog management, social bookmarking and social media management..
