Citation snaps up Bibby Consulting and Support

CITATION, the private equity-backed health and safety and employment law adviser, has hit the deals trail with the acquisition of Bibby Consulting and Support.

Bibby CAS, as it was known is based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, and has been part of Liverpool-based Bibby Line Group since 2009.

The acquisition is part of Citation’s growth plan under the ownership of ECI Partners, which acquired the Wilmsow company last year and quickly installed Chris Morris, the former chief executive of LateRooms as chief executive.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Bibby Consulting and Support has more than  2,000 clients. Like Citation it  nables employers and senior managers to attain and maintain compliance within the fields of employment law, health and safety and environmental legislation.
