Board appointment at James Halstead

FLOORING firm James Halstead has appointed Eberhard Lotz as director of European operations.

Mr Lotz, 67, has spearheaded growth at the Radcliffe-based company’s German subsidiary, Objectflor.

Geoffrey Halstead, chairman at James Halstead which supplies flooring for a mutlitude of venues from art galleries and the Big Brother house to football stadiums and army kitchens, said his appointment comes at a time when European sales are at record levels.

He added: “Eberhard brings a comprehensive knowledge of our largest export marketplace and adds a core strength to the board.”
