PHOTOLINK Creative Group, the Manchester photographic, design and marketing agency has strengthened its team in India.
The Ardwick-based company, which has been active in India for more than a year, has appointed Holly Harvey as director of business development for its Indian operation in Mumbai.
She joins Photolink from the UK India Business Council, the organisation that supports the UK Government in the promotion of trade, business and investment between the two countries.
The £9m turnover Photolink Creative Group employs 100 people at its head office in Manchester and at the beginning of 2009, opened its Mumbai studio with a team of 14 full time creative staff.
In her new role Holly will be liaising with creative teams in the UK and India to encourage collaboration and shared experience to help promote and build brands across the globe.
Photolink managing director, Jayne Riley said: “We are the first independent company of our kind in the world to open a western style creative and photographic studio on this large scale in Mumbai.
“We have already worked with some fantastic brands, including Hypercity Argos, Future Bazaar along with the Tata owned Westside department store brand and Croma Retail (consumer electronics).
“We are seeing increasing demand for our services in Mumbai, from both International and home-grown Indian brands. It is the perfect time to bring Holly on board to help build on our strong foundations. Her experience of both Indian and British businesses will be invaluable to our growth.”
Holly Harvey added: “I am looking forward to the challenge of working with Photolink in Mumbai. I believe that their creative talent, together with their understanding of Mumbai and the cultural and global challenges will present a huge opportunity.”
