Harrington Brooks takes 50,000 sq ft in Sale

DEBT management firm Harrington Brooks has taken 50,000 sq ft in Sale, south Manchester.
It has agreed a 10-year lease with Harrogate-based Commercial Estates Group at the 100,000 sq ft Jackson House on Washway Road.
It is relocating from Bruntwood’s Sale Point, also on Washway Road, and plans to move 500 staff in two phases, in April and July.
Harrington Brooks’ chief operating officer Terry Sweeney said: “Following recent growth, we needed larger office accommodation and wanted to stay in Sale, close to the town centre amenities and public transport links, which are vital for many members of our staff.
“Jackson House was the only building that could offer us the specification and space we needed plus further room for us to expand in the future.”
Other occupiers at the building are IBM, Chep UK and AA Projects. Canning O’Neill and Savills are joint agents. Around 30,000 sq ft is still available.
Harrington Brooks was bought by RJD Partners and a management team led by chief executive Matthew Cheetham and Terry Sweeney in 2012. The deal represented an exit for Inflexion Private Equity.
