Home pride for Kukri boss after Welsh kit deal

KUKRI, the Lancashire-based sportswear brand, has agreed a five-year kit deal with Welsh Athletics to become the team’s official kit supplier until 2019.

The new kit will be worn by all of the athletics athletes competing for Wales, including the Welsh School teams.

Kukri will also kit out the Welsh Athletics team competing at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow later this year.

Kukri founder and managing director, Phil Morris said: “As a Welshman I’m extremely proud to be working in partnership with Welsh Athletics.
The team has some fantastic talent and some future medal potentials. I’m delighted that Kukri will be the sports brand they will be wearing when they represent their country over the next five years.”

Welsh athletes will be wearing Kukri kit for the first time at this Sunday’s Welsh Athletics Indoor International with a fully bespoke kit set to be officially unveiled in May.
