NoChintz aims for perfect blend with coffee house venture

INTERIOR design studio NoChintz has teamed up with a fitness entrepreneur to create a new coffee house concept to be launched in Manchester in the autumn.
Called The Foundation Coffee House, the £400,000 venture will create 20 jobs when it opens.
NoChintz and its partner Adam Chapman, owner of the QDos Fitness centre in Heald Green near Stockport, have undertaken extensive research in recent months , visiting New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen and London in its quest to create the perfect ambiance.
NoChintz and Foundation Coffee House’s operations director Dominic Beardwell said: “It’s about taking the best of our skills from NoChintz – strategy, interior design, branding and communications – and fusing them with Adam’s own business prowess along with his extensive coffee knowledge – thus, creating the perfect business blend.”
Adam Chapman added: “I have always had a great interest in coffee, the making of the drink, the cultures and history behind it, so it’s been an absolute delight to extend my knowledge with this project. I look forward to implementing what I’ve learned.”
The first coffee bar will be in the city centre where a deal on a 3,500 sq ft location is being negotiated.
