Profits to rise 46% at GB Group

DATA intelligence specialist GB Group has reported a strong trading performance and expecting to show an operating profit of at least £10.5m (2014: £7.2m), a year on year increase of about 46%.
The Chester company made the announcement ahead a more detailed trading update on its results due in the week starting April 20.
Chief executive Richard Law said: “I am extremely pleased with these results.
“They are a credit to the hard work and dedication of the whole GBG team who are working to a clear vision for GBG to be the leader in identity data intelligence – informing business decisions between people and organisations globally.”
GBG’s services include international software and services for quick and accurate customer registration, and the verification of identities of individuals and businesses remotely.
The company also aims to innovate software and services which provide accurate and up-to-date identity information to deliver improved customer contact.
It also claims to provide the most accurate and up-to-date picture of the UK’s population, properties and businesses.
