Seafront hotel sold for about £800,000

THE 10- bedroom Hackett’s York House Hotel on Blackpool’s Queens Promenade has been sold in a deal brokered by specialist property adviser Christie + Co.
The hotel has been acquired for an undisclosed sum off a £800,000 guide price by private buyers from London who were attracted by the potential that both the hotel and the resort as a destination location have to offer.
The substantial hotel provides accommodation over four floors and was previously operated under management. The hotel also offers a range of bars, restaurants, meeting, banqueting and function facilities.
Director at Christie + Co Martin Davis said: “We are delighted that we have had the opportunity to sell yet another hotel on Blackpool’s Promenade. This transaction is the second prominent Blackpool hotel that we have completed in recent months and demonstrates the continued appetite for strategically located, good quality hotel assets.”
