Deals latest: Eversheds; Rickitt Mitchell

HOT on the heels of its success in the Public Markets category in the 2015 North West Rainmaker Awards , Eversheds has advised listed Lancashire company Torotrak on its latest fundraising.
The Manchester corporate team advised on the firm placing, placing and open offer, related party transactions and reorganisation of share capital, led by corporate partner Simon Masters and assisted by Richard Simpson (senior associate, corporate) and Laura Evans (associate, corporate).
Masters said: “We are pleased to have been involved in this transaction with Torotrak as they enter a new phase in their development plans. It has been a pleasure to work with Adam and his team. ”

CORPORATE finance firm Rickitt Mitchell & Partners advised the shareholders of Seaward Group on its sale to German group Metrawatt International for an undisclosed sum.
Seaward, based in County Durham, employs around 170 people and has annual sales of £16m. It is a manufacturer of electronic test and measurement instruments used in a wide variety of electrical, medical, industrial and energy sector applications.
The Rickitt Mitchell team included Brian Higgins and Alex Wilson.
