People: Creative Resource; Duo UK; Matthews & Goodman & more

STOCKPORT-based creative, digital and marketing recruitment consultancy Creative Resource has promoted two members of its existing team to full consultant roles, and strengthened the overall team with five new appointments.

Hannah Timperley has been with Creative Resource for 18 months and has been promoted from a resourcer role to associate consultant.

Amanda White has move into the role of resourcing manager to play a key part in sourcing the right candidates for the firm’s clients..  

Jayde Bagnall and Becki Ollerton have joined the team as resourcers and will be working to put in place new streamlined internal processes to allow the Creative Resource team of recruitment consultants to respond to clients and candidates more effectively.

Jane Roura and Steph McEntee have also joined the team as resourcers, responsible for gathering information on candidates and prospective companies.

Rachel Campbell, a final year PR and digital communications student from Manchester Metropolitan University, has also joined the team as a paid intern, and will be supporting the agency with social media content.

POLYTHENE manufacturer and packaging supplier Duo UK has appointed a digital marketing apprentice as it looks to branch out into the digital sphere.

Duo UK enrolled Nikita Briggs, 18, on a social media and digital marketing course run by The Juice Academy in September.  

The year-long course aims to teach apprentices about all aspects of digital marketing for businesses and marks a first for the Manchester-based manufacturer which has previously only appointed apprentices in manufacturing and engineering roles.

Zoe Brimelow, brand director at Duo UK added: “We’ve been a long-time supporter of apprenticeships, getting people in straight from school, teaching them about the industry, showing them a clear career progression, and giving them lifelong skills in a technical industry.”  

Manchester based Duo UK has been manufacturing and supplying bespoke mailbags, luxury paper bags, bag for life, gift boxes, tissue and ribbon to leading retail and e-retail brands, such as JD Williams, JD Sports and Tesco for more than 25 years.

NATIONAL commercial property adviser Matthews & Goodman has promoted eight staff across its offices in London, Liverpool and Manchester.

The promotions are in recognition of the efforts of the individuals and their contribution to the firm as it continues to develop.

They include Suzanne Leo (building surveying, Liverpool Office, and promoted to associate level are Rachel Wharton (management, Liverpool office) and Richard Elton (valuation, Manchester office).

TAX planning and investment specialist OneE Group in has taken on two new graduates.

Manchester University finishers Saidi Fogarty and Natalia Zeeshan are joining the company as trainee tax advisers.

They will enter the company’s structured graduate recruitment programme which spurs professional development with supported, hands on experience.

Founded in 2006, OneE Group is one of the largest independent tax planning and investment firms in the UK, with clients in every corner of the country. The company and its directors are recognised by industry-leading professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

MILLSON Associates, the architecture, interior design, building surveying and project management consultancy with offices in Manchester and London, has bolstered its management team with an internal promotion and a director-level appointment.

The management team has been strengthened with the promotion of Ryan Brookes who now takes up a director-level role at the company.

Millson has also appointed Chartered Building Surveyor Guy Freeman to its team as Associate Operations director.

The company  has also welcomed building surveyor Rob Davies, taking staff numbers to 20.

DIGITAL marketing agency Digital Next in Manchester has added social networker Lauren Dale to its team.

Her role is to help the £2.5m turnover company grow its digital public relations department and offer clients an opportunity to gain more earned media for their brand.
