Iconic Cheshire building on the market for £500K

COMMERCIAL property consultant Legat Owen has been instructed jointly with Cheshire Lamont to sell one of the region’s most iconic buildings in the centre of the historic market town of Nantwich in Cheshire for £500,000.
Available on a freehold basis, 1-5 Pillory Street occupies a prominent position in the town and comprises retail on the ground floor and offices above.
The upper three floors were previously the headquarters of the building’s owner, Clive Christian Kitchens and Interiors until the company relocated to Mayfair earlier this year.
The now vacant space also has planning permission for three apartments or alternative suitable uses such as leisure or a restaurant, subject to planning.
Andy Butler, director of Legat Owen, said: “Due to the company’s expansion, Clive Christian has taken the decision to relocate its UK offices to London.
“This has created a rare opportunity for someone to acquire the freehold of this iconic building and occupy the office accommodation or convert the space into three residential or other uses on the upper floors.”
