Agents appointed for landmark Quays buildings

PEEL has appointed WHR Property Consultants and Cushman & Wakefield as the new joint letting agents on two of its landmark office buildings – The Victoria and The Alexandra – at MediaCityUK in Salford Quays.
The Victoria comprises 115,060 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation over nine storeys.
The Alexander is a five storey building totaling 60,848 sq ft.
The two adjacent striking buildings are on the waterfront, which forms part of MediaCityUK and benefit from the Harbour City Metrolink station on their doorstop.
The buildings are currently home to a number of occupiers including Bupa, WSP, JT International and Marks & Spencer.
At present there is 5,990sq ft and 5,017sq ft of vacant space in The Victoria and The Alexander respectively, which will rise to 80,000sq ft once Bupa completes its move in to its new building next door.
Quoting rental levels are at £18.50 per sq ft.
Mark Cooke of WHR said: “The Alexandra and The Victoria buildings are two of the most recognisable office buildings in Salford Quays and have attracted some very high profile companies and blue chip occupiers, which underpins the quality of the office space, location and amenities available to the businesses and their staff.
“The location of these two buildings close to MediaCityUK, where consent has just been granted for a further £1bn expansion, means that they are well placed to benefit from this additional investment as the area continues to attract new occupiers and businesses.”
