Bespoke soft furnishings specialist goes into administration

A 30-YEAR-OLD bespoke soft furniture company based in Chorley, Lancashire has gone into administration, leaving up to eight jobs are under threat.

Moor Sofas, which operated from the Botany Bay retail outlet next to the M61, moved out shortly before Christmas.

Restructuring specialist Leonard Curtis, which has offices in Preston, Bury and Manchester is acting for the company.

On its website the Moor Sofas said it offered “the finest and comfiest hand-made bespoke sofas at an affordable price, including free delivery anywhere in mainland UK”.

Letters from Leonard Curtis have gone out to Moor’s creditors explaining the demise of the company.

No-one from Leonard Curtis was available for comment.
