Civic Engineers, which has its largest studio in Manchester in addition to offices in London and Leeds, is celebrating a 75% turnover increase from £1.9m to £3.4m in the year to February.
The headcount of the civil and structural engineering business also doubled to 60 in 12 months.
Founding director Julian Broster said: “We are delighted to be able to announce such significant growth during this financial year.
“It has been an exciting year for us expanding the business, in particular opening a new Leeds studio and recruiting more highly talented team members.
“Our passion is to design and deliver high quality buildings, structures and public spaces, with a view to ultimately helping to deliver vibrant and healthy cities.
“This year has seen us work on some incredible projects such as the redevelopment of the Cohen Quad, Exeter College Oxford, new school buildings, No 1 Cambridge Street in Manchester and public realm work in Altrincham and London.
“For the year ahead there are already some very ambitious projects in progress and we will also be focusing on consolidating our growth. In addition, we are looking forward to being at MIPIM next week and speaking as part of the Manchester at MIPIM programme.”
