Appointments: Architect FWP promotes associate; Fido PR adds events manager; and more…

ARCHITECTURE and design practice the Frank Whittle Partnership has promoted Helen Sydenham to associate.
Ms Sydenham, 38, joined the firm in August 2008 and has played a key role supporting a local NHS client in its PFI development to provide a primary care centre.
A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with almost 20 years in the construction industry, Helen, from Chorley, has specialised in the health and education sectors for the past decade.
David Robinson, managing partner at FWP, which has offices in Manchester and Preston, said: “Her strengths include an in-depth knowledge of business case preparation, funding and procurement systems and cost management.”

FIDO PR has appointed Lara Ross as operations and events manager. She will also be responsible for some of the agency’s business development.
Ms Ross joins Manchester-based Fido from the Institute of Directors, where she ran the North West events programme for more than three years.
Prior to that she worked at UCI Cinemas’ FilmWorks in Manchester as conference and events manager. She was part of the management team responsible for opening the new cinema, as well as managing film premieres and corporate hospitality events.
