Peninsula creates 50 jobs and opens in N Ireland

EMPLOYMENT law consultancy Peninsula is opening an office in Northern Ireland as demand continues to surge.
The Manchester company, part of betting magnates Fred and Peter Done’s business portfolio, is creating a total of 50 jobs over the next few months, with 30 posts in Manchster and 20 at the new Belfast base, where it has taken 1420sq ft on a 10-year lease. Peninsula now has four offices, Manchester, Hinckley, Belfast and Dublin.
Managing director Peter Done said today:”With Peninsula’s continued growth, naturally we have scope for the expansion of our sales and marketing department and this now means that we are on a recruitment drive.
“The recent spending review by the government means that companies have to tighten their belts even more and we expect businesses to require our expert help.
“With an increase in tax investigations likely, our ‘TaxWise’ service has been heavily subscribed to so we are looking at expanding our sales and marketing division to accommodate the extra requirements many businesses now deem necessary “
Mr Done said Peninsula’s move in June to its new HQ on Cheetham Hill Road had given the business room to expand and also lifted staff morale.
