Appointments: Daisy appoints FD; Cattles IF grows sales team; and more…

NELSON-based telecoms firm Daisy Communications has appointed Anthony Riley as chief financial officer.

Mr Riley was previously financial director at Homeserve Claims Management and prior to this associate financial director at JJB sports.

CATTLES Invoice Finance has added to its Manchester sales team with the appointment of Adele Berry as regional manager.

Prior to joining CIF, Ms Berry was a sales manager in the small business division at Five Arrows Commercial Finance, where she held the role for three and a half years.  She also spent seven years as an associate director in Bank of Scotland’s asset finance team. 

At Cattles Ms Berry will be working with small to medium-sized businesses to provide flexible finance or debtor  finance to ease cash flow problems.

Darren Cottenden, regional managing director at CIF in Manchester, said: “Despite many of our competitors freezing recruitment as a means to cut costs, we feel it is important to invest in talent because it plays such an integral part of driving growth and business development.

MANCHESTER-based Airline Services Group has appointed Dan Hepworth as group director sales and marketing.

Mr Hepworth, 35, joins from Lufthansa Technik where he served as sales manager UK and Ireland. Prior to that he worked with FLS Aerospace as group sales manager UK and Scandinavia.

He will be responsible for building and developing the sales and marketing efforts of Airline Services with dual targets of encouraging new business into the privately-owned company.

Bryan Bodek, group chief executive, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dan to the management team.This is part of our strategy to further develop the valuable relationships we have with many major airlines in Europe and to expand our reach into the rest of the world.”

DIGITAL marketing agency theEword has appointed two new team members.

Adrian Mursec joins the Trafford Park- based company as senior developer and Stephen Dixon joins as a designer.

Mr Mursec will be responsible for the coding and development of all theEword’s internal and external projects.

Whilst Mr Dixon will work on a range of new and existing projects within theEword’s portfolio.
