Booths to expand with Grange store

PRESTON-based food retailer Booths has been given planning permission for a new supermarket in Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria.
The site currently holds a car dealership at the north end of the town centre.
The proposals were submitted in response to a retail consultant’s report adopted by the local planning authority which advocated that a relatively small food store was suited to the town.
Booths’ advisory team included planning consultancy Steven Abbott Associates, chartered surveyors Robert Pinkus and Co, architects Donald Clark and Damson Design, solicitors Napthens, transport consultants Turner Lowe, structural and civil engineers RG Parkins, and acoustic specialist Philip Dunbavin.
