THE owner of a Cheshire restaurant is investing hundreds of thousands of pounds to create a ‘new look’ venue.

James O’Neil is completely transforming Olivers in Woodford and plans to re-open the popular restaurant in June.

The development will see the bar and dining areas modernised with bronze-mirrored surfaces, antique solid oak flooring and soft leather furnishings.
James said: “Our décor had become a little tired and so it was important to take the decision to make this investment.

“My uncle, Paul Roberts opened Olivers in 1978. The formula was simple; locally sourced quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented, served with the knowledge and attention to detail that it deserved.

“The independent restaurant is now a rare breed, which makes me even more determined to create something special and unique. The investment I am making reflects my confidence and commitment to Woodford and the surrounding area – not to mention the wonderful produce Cheshire has to offer.”
