DWF lands Houston

LAW firm DWF has appointed Stephen Houston as the national head of its corporate team.
Mr Houston joins from Addleshaw Goddard, where he led the international team, and worked within the corporate and professional practices teams.
He also held major roles with key accounts and was based at the firm’s City of London office. At DWF he will replace Andrew Needham who is continuing in his role as a partner within the firm’s corporate team.
Mr Houston spent the early part of his career with City firm Norton Rose, moving to the North West with his family in the mid-1990s. He was a board member and national head of corporate for Davies Arnold Cooper before joining Addleshaws, initially practising in Manchester and more recently in London.
DWF has 980 people based in Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Preston.
