Liverpool Uni to host management conference

THE University of Liverpool is to host a European conference looking at how economies, cities and organisations rise and fall depending on the way they are managed.

More than 750 guests from leading universities and business schools will visit the university’s management school to discuss the management of change and renewal.

Professor Terry McNulty, from the university’s management school and chair of the conference, said: “This conference will address leading academic research on topics such as innovation, strategy, corporate governance and entrepreneurial practice.

“Debate will also cover collaborations between academics and business practitioners and how social and spiritual values can shape 21st century organisations.”

The conference will take place at the Arena and Convention Centre at Monarchs Quay, from May 11-14.
