Leonard Curtis opens in Bristol

BURY-based insolvency practice Leonard Curtis is to expand its operations into the South West by opening an office in Bristol.

The firm is set to open an office at Queen Square in the city, which will be led by director Colin Prescott.

He said the decision to open the office – its eighth in the country – made “perfect sense”.

“Leonard Curtis already has offices in the North West, London and Birmingham and they were keen to broaden their reach,” said Prescott.

The office will also house a division of LC Corporate Strategies – a specialist division to advise businesses on debts owed to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs and cashflow management.

“My own background is in insolvency but with the assistance of the LC Corporate Strategies team, we will be able to offer clients a full range of financial assistance packages,” he said.

Paul Reeves, director at Leonard Curtis, said: “Our strategy is to continue to develop Leonard Curtis as a truly national operation and the opening of the Bristol office is an important staging post in this development.

“It will allow us to grow and serve a new region bringing our unique brand of independent corporate recovery, insolvency and restructuring to Bristol and the South West.”
