Bauhaus fully let as Gazprom expands

GAZPROM Marketing and Trading Retail, part of Russian energy giant Gazprom, has taken two floors on a ten-year lease at Blackrok UK Property Fund’s 50,864 sq ft Bauhaus building in Manchester.

The firm has occupied one floor in the building since 2007 but its expansion means that the building is now fully let. The headline rent is £22.50 per sq ft.

Gazprom Retail’s managing director Jon Feingold said: “Bauhaus has been a great building for Gazprom Retail’s global expansion and we are delighted to be able to expand within the premises.”

BlackRock was advised by OBI Property and CBRE.  Will Lewis of OBI said: “It is great news that Bauhaus is now 100% let and the occupier mix within the building is testament to the quality of the building”.

Will Kennon of CBRE added: “Bauhaus has provided a great base for two major businesses in Gazprom and Irwin Mitchell to flourish and expand since establishing their Manchester offices only a few years ago”.
