Appointments: Forbes promotes four; PKF boosts forensic team & more

LANCASHIRE  law firm Forbes Solicitors has appointed Charlotte Mills, Katherine Milnes, Lachlan McLean and Gill Carr as associates.

Charlotte is based at the firm’s Blackburn office, as is Katherine Milnes, who works in the insurance team.  Gill is head of the family law department at the Accrington office whilst Lachlan works in the housing in Preston.

ACCOUNTANTS and business advisers PKF, has strengthened its North West forensic team with the appointment of Carolyn Asher as forensic services manager.

Ms Asher  has worked in litigation services for more than 12 years specialising in personal injury claims including clinical negligence, catastrophic injuries and fatal accident claims.

She specialises in quantifying complex loss of earnings claims, pension losses and claims involving foreign taxation.

MOTOR claims management company Broker Assistance has appointed a new director to drive growth in key markets in insurance and broking.

Debbie Crellin has joined the Warrington-based business as sales account Director, reporting to chief executive John Ascroft, with a remit to develop the company’s network of customers in the insurance and broking sectors.

Ms Crellin, who has over 20 years’ experience in motor claims handling, having previously worked in a variety of senior management roles at firms including Centrus and Britannia Car Hire Services.

CHESHIRE home storage company Scott Brothers has recruited Richard Greenhill as a national sales executive. He will be responsible for a mix of current and new accounts, and promoting the company’s leading brands such as the Pack-Mate and Space Bag vacuum storage bags and the Racor garage storage solutions range.

Richard joined Holmes Chapel-based Scott Brothers in May last year and has been successful in developing and promoting a new product, The Lubber Bag.

DIGITAL media production house, Big Dot Media, has appointed James Grant as a web and social media developer. James from Nantwich, Cheshire joins the company straight from university.

RECRUITMENT and training agency Acorn, has recently announced three promotions in its North West branches.  Ian Dunn, from Penwortham, has been appointed as Preston’s branch manager, while Olwen Kilgannon from Widnes takes on the role of branch manager for Runcorn.

Christian Ash, who has previously worked as both branch manager for Preston and Runcorn, has been promoted to the senior role of regional manager overseeing all four branches in the North and North Wales.
