Claremont to create "village green" for BDO

NORTH WEST office interior design and fit-out company Claremont Group has won the contract from accountants BDO Stoy Hayward for the firm’s new office in Spinningfields, Manchester.

The firm has taken 35,000sq ft at 3 Hardman Street -among the largest buildings on Allied London’s Spinningfields scheme – where 225 staff will be based.

The design will feature a  ‘Village Green’ concept with ‘neighbourhoods’ located around it, acting as a focal point for the whole space.

Jeff Jones, lead partner at BDO Stoy Hayward in Manchester, said: “It’s an exciting time for our Manchester office. Our move to 3 Hardman Street is a major investment and shows our commitment to our clients and our people.

“Moving forward, the new office will provide us with a first-class, contemporary, open-plan working environment which will comfortably house our team as well as giving us flexibility and the option of further expansion as the team continues to grow.

“We were very keen to work with a North West based company to demonstrate our commitment to the local business community and Claremont demonstrated an excellent understanding of our brand values and vision for our Manchester office.”

Mike Gardner, managing director of Claremont said; “We are proud to be working with BDO Stoy Hayward and are confident we will create an inspiring and motivating workspace and client suite at Hardman Street.

“BDO’s approach of personally tailoring their solutions for clients closely echoes that of Claremont’s own values and this synergy has undoubtedly helped our understanding of their objectives for the project.”
