Gardiner to leave as DTZ cuts 130

ANDREW Gardiner is understood to be leaving commercial property agents DTZ, as part of a round of 130 redundancies across its UK offices.
Close sources told TheBusnessDesk that Gardiner, a director at the Manchester office who has been with the firm for many years, is to leave DTZ. However, a spokesperson for the company would not confirm this, saying it did not comment on individuals.
The spokesperson added that the company did not yet know how many of the 150 staff in the firms Manchester and Liverpool offices would be affected by the cuts, as it was still in a period of consultation.
“We have identified a number of roles for redundancy across the UK and are in consultation with staff to determine the extent to which people in these posts can be redeployed,” said the company in a statement.
