Enersol base to create 30 jobs

ELECTRICAL engineering company Enersol is to expand into Chester, creating 30 jobs over the next three years.
The Irish-owned company will be based at EA Technology’s Energy Innovation Centre in Capenhurst near Chester. It will be the first foreign investment company to make a base at the centre.
Enersol will also collaborate with the University of Manchester on the research and development of energy distribution networks, looking at how to connect renewable energy to the grid.
Oisin McCann, Managing Director at Enersol said: “The Northwest Regional Development Agency has been critical in our decision to invest in the North West. The support we have received from organisations such as the Joule Centre and the Energy Innovation Centre will enable us to establish a successful base in the region.”
Steven Broomhead, chief executive of the NWDA, said: “Enersol have ambitious plans that will assist in positioning the North West as the leading region in tackling climate change.”
