Fresh in line for record year

CREATIVE communications agency Fresh says it is on target to hit its goal of £10m turnover this year after a strong first quarter.
The Cheadle firm, which last month sold its sales promotion business to its management team, generated sales of £3.28m and profits of £348,000 in the three months to the end December.
In the first quarter of 2009-10 financial year Fresh’s revenue was £1.73m – which included a contribution from the Fresh Rewards, the sales promotion unit.
Major new account wins with corporates such as Barclays, Co-op, Brother and Which? have helped the six-year-old company’s growth.
Chairman Nick Porter said: “2011 is going to be our best year ever, and we’ve had six pretty good years leading up to this. The turnover reflects the spend from our existing clients and also a healthy mixture of new accounts that are coming on board with the group.
“We have continually over the past six ears re-invested into the business and the final fit out of FIN House sees the investment in the building alone hit the £500,000 mark.”
