HL Interactive in remortgage conveyancing JV

VOLUME legal services provider HL Interactive has launched a joint venture remortgage conveyancing company.

The Manchester-based firm has teamed up with property services business Countrywide and conveyancing providers Myhomemove and Barnetts to set up Secure Remortgage.

Matt Wightman, chief executive of HL Interactive, said: “Secure Remortgage aims to revolutionise legal services to the mortgage market. Not only does the business have proven scale volume for remortgage conveyancing but also provides specialist legal services for repossessions and debt recovery.

“Our joined up approach and unique market insight will deliver clients security and experience through established systems and processes, together with a robust compliance regime, which is regulated through the CLC and SRA.”

Law firm Halliwells sold volume subsidiary HL Interactive to the management team for an undisclosed sum earlier this month, although it retained a 10% stake.
