Beyond the Box turnover to hit £1m after Croda deal

TRAINING and marketing specialist Beyond The Box has won a contract to supply display units to the speciality chemicals multinational Croda.

It has ordered 200 units for a trial at laboratories in Europe. Cheadle-based Beyond the Box said the deal could lead to a further order for more than a thousand.

Managing director Christine Knott said: “We were thrilled to secure this international contract. Croda is a major multinational, and dependent upon the successful trial in the European laboratories the implications will be significant for our turnover this year.”

The company said the order will help push its turnover to £1m in the current financial year. In the 12 months to August 31 the company recorded sales of £780,000, up 50%.

Beyond the Box, which works with chains such PC World and Dixons, employs 17 staff.
