Green Cauldron opens in Liverpool

AN Australian coffee grower has chosen Liverpool as the location of its first cafe.

Green Cauldron Coffee is opening the outlet in Castle Street today.

It will stock coffees grown at the company’s own 100-acre coffee farm in Byron Bay, New South Wales.

Director Beverley Seymour said: “Australians take their coffee very seriously and we are bringing this ethos to the coffee-lovers in the UK – starting with Liverpool.

“Australia has long celebrated a rich artesian cafe culture and the country leads the world in creating the perfect cup of coffee – they are obsessed by it, and we are determined to raise the espresso bar in the UK.”

The company plans to open a string of coffee shops in the UK over the next five years.
