Appointments: New partner for Myers Lister Price; Fellows promoted at Kellogg’s; BDO boosts forensic team & more

ALTRINCHAM law firm Myers Lister Price has hired Stephen Attree as a partner.

Mr Attree joins from Manchester city centre firm Lawson Coppock Hart, where he was a commercial partner.

Michael Lister, managing partner of Myers Lister Price, said: “Stephen has good relationships with business owners in the region and he’s a trusted dealmaker in the SME marketplace. He’s well connected with banks, accountants and other professionals in the region.”

Stephen Attree added: “I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues at Myers Lister Price to help regional businesses in the £1m to £30m turnover bracket with solid commercial legal advice.”

RACHEL Fellows has been promoted at Manchester-based Kellogg’s UK’s corporate communications director.

Rachel, who has been with Kellogg’s for three years after joining from Asda, will be responsible for all public affairs, PR, and external and internal communications. She replaces Chris Wermann who has joined Home Retail Group.

dave riglerSQS Software Quality Systems as appointed Dave Rigler as director of its central and northern region.

Based in Manchester Mr Rigler will be responsible for all sales and marketing as well as the delivery of SQS’s testing and quality services across the region.

He will manage a team of more than 75 professional test consultants working across the North of England, the Midlands, Scotland and Wales. Following the success of recent client wins the company is looking to create approximately 20 additional consultancy roles over the next 12 months.

ROCHDALE-based Zen Internet, has appointed David Smith as its business development manager.

Mr Smith joins the independent Internet service provider from BT. In his new role he will focus on developing business with corporate customers and channel partners.

He said: “‘Zen’s mission is to provide the best ISP service in the UK and it does this by continuously investing in its products and providing excellent technical support and customer service. Zen is well known as a broadband provider, but can already offer a range of business services including IP VPN and hosting solutions.”
