Daniel wins £17m water contract

CIVIL Engineering firm Daniel Contractors has won a £17m framework contract from Bristol Water to refurbish water and sewerage mains in the area.

The agreement includes a programme to repair and refurbish 59km of pipework covered by 9 separate projects, using PE lining and resin spray lining techniques.

The Warrington-based company’s chief executive, Andrew Ball, said: “Having successfully worked with Bristol Water for a number of years delivering the network maintenance contract, we are delighted to have been appointed as the framework partner to deliver these strategic refurbishment projects. 

“Our proven track record of operational delivery, continuous improvement and innovative design & LDTM rehabilitation techniques means that we are well placed to deliver best value for Bristol Water and its customers.”
