H20 Networks sponsorship deal for young sportsman

H2O Networks, part of fibre optics business i3 Group, has signed a sponsorship deal with sportsman Ash Davies.

The Merseyside-based firm is backing the 21-year-old racing driver in the 2009 Formula Palmer Audi (FPA) race series.

The deal has enabled Mr Davies to enter the programme and will see him race the H2O Networks-branded car at circuits across the UK including Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Silverstone.

Mr Davies, said: “This sponsorship will cover the running costs of the car and my race entry fees, without which I would not have been able to compete this season.

I have always aimed for the top in my sport, but taking a year out would have been a disaster for my career, so I am incredibly thankful for support I have received from H2O Networks.”

Elfed Thomas, CEO of i3 Group, said: “Ash is a very determined young man and, like H2O Networks, has great ambitions for the future. It seemed appropriate for us, a company dedicated to providing super fast connectivity, to support the prospects of a young man who has super fast aspirations of his own.”
