Leonard Dews hosts Patek Philippe collection

LANCASHIRE-based jeweller Leonard Dews Diamonds is to host the North West debut of the £2m Patek Philippe watch collection this week.

Leonard Dews is the only jeweller in the county to have secured approval from Geneva to sell Patek Philippe’s watches, which are currently on display at the company’s flagship store in Blackpool.

Michael Hyman, managing director, said: “We’ve already confirmed a number of appointments for collectors and interested customers in Preston, East Lancashire and across the Fylde. The collection is only with us until Saturday but early indications are strong and I’m confident that the collection will be a great success.”

The 2009 range includes men’s and ladies Nautilus, the officer style Calatrava and a £155,000 rose gold and platinum Celestial, which has a sapphire crystal back and displays astronomical indications relating to the movement of the stars and the moon.

The watches, which range in price from £8,000 to more than £150,000, will be displayed until June 6, at Leonard Dews in Blackpool.
