Spinningfields suits TM Lewin

LUXURY shirt retailer TM Lewin is opening its fourth store in Greater Manchester today.

The firm’s latest outlet is in Manchester’s Spinningfields business district, where it has taken a unit at 3 Hardman Street.

TM Lewin already has branches in King Street, at the Trafford Centre and at Manchester Airport, which launched last August.

Founded in 1898 in London’s Jermyn Street, TM Lewin had only five shops in 2000, but has expanded aggressively over the last decade and now operates 92 branches and 11 concessions.

Chief executive Geoff Quinn said: “Manchester is the shopping capital of the north and following the success of our other three branches in the city, Spinningfields seemed the perfect location for a fourth store.

“Opening in the corporate district allows us to reach more customers and bring quality businesswear at affordable prices to busy professionals in Manchester.”
