National Grid thumbs-up for Energetix

ALTERNATIVE energy pioneer Energetix Group, has won a key order from Nation Grid Electricity Transmission.
The Cheshter-based company said the order, won by its subsidiary Pnu Power was a ‘big step forward’ as it was a repeat order from a major player in the sector.
The National Grid order is for a unit to be used in a standby power application supporting switchgear at National Grid’s 275kV switchyard in Pitsmoor near Sheffiled. The Pnu Power device will provide reliable, instantly-available standby power for the network supplying power to Sheffield’s industrial core.
Neil Bright, chief operating officer at Energetix said: “We have been working closely with National Grid for over two years. This represents an important milestone for Pnu Power as we have now received repeat orders from both National Grid UK and National Grid USA.
“The utility switching market is a target market for Pnu Power and to receive repeat orders from the UK’s largest operator represents a big step forward for the company.”
