£500k care facility opens in Wallasey
INCLUSIVE Lifestyles has opened a specialist £500,000 unit on the Wirral to care for autistic adults.
The Chester-based company has transformed a large Victorian property on Wellington Road in Wallasey into a facility that provides specialist 24 hour care for users with autism and complex learning difficulties.
The property has been refurbished over three months, with funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Healthcare team.
Chris Wall, chief executive of Inclusive Lifestyles, said: “There is a demand for specialist care facilities such as this to cater for the needs of local people. We aim to deliver quality services in purpose built surroundings and are very happy to open in Wallasey.”
Inclusive Lifestyles, which employs 200 people, was set up in 2003 to provide care services across Wirral and North Wales. Its other properties include Merchant House, a six-bed facility in Birkenhead for adults with learning difficulties and Oakmere in Deeside, for adults who are autistic.
