Brown Shipley hosts recruitment event
PRIVATE bank Brown Shipley has organised an event that allows companies to recruit executive talent in exchange for sweat equity or commission.
The Pitching for Management event helps firms find experienced managers without paying recruitment fees. Candidates can negotiate their position directly with a potential employer.
The session is being run in partnership with AngelNews, an online news services for entrepreneurs and investors.
Angel News’ chief executive Modwenna Rees-Mogg said: “Pitching for Management started off as a concept that we believed would work, as we were seeing high quality management without jobs and early stage companies struggling in the recession.
“It seemed obvious to put the two together in a live environment so they could see if there is a fit that would be of mutual benefit.”
