Nik Nak Clothing in administration

NIK Nak Clothing, the Manchester-based fashion clothing business, has been placed into administration, with the loss of 12 jobs.
Ben Barrett and Jeremy Woodside of Tenon Recovery were appointed as joint administrators to the company on July 14.
All 12 of the company’s staff have been made redundant.
Jeremy Woodside, director of recovery at Tenon, said: “Nik Nak Clothing has been a victim of worsening trading conditions and a very weak pound and is unable to continue as a viable business.
“Having been appointed by Nik Nak Clothing’s bank, we will be reviewing the situation over the coming weeks.”
Nik Nak Clothing Company, on Mosley Street in the city centre, started trading in 1995. The company specialised in importing and exporting fashion wear.
