Administrators sell Beetham hotels businesses
THE administrators of Beetham Hotels Liverpool Limited and Beetham Hotels Manchester Limited have confirmed the sale of both companies to Blue Liverpool and Blue Manchester respectively.
No details were provided about the ownership details of the purchasers, although a Companies House search reveals that both are headquartered in London and that their sole director is 32 year-old Cypriot businessman, Loucas Louca. The sales were completed last Thursday.
Brian Green, joint administrator and restructuring partner at KPMG, said: “We are delighted to announce the sale of the businesses, with no disruption to day-to-day operations and no job losses.
“Hilton Worldwide and Radisson are continuing to manage the day to day operations at the iconic hotels in Liverpool and Manchester.”
The administrators said that the buyer would be honouring all existing customer and supplier agreements and that any queries about the businesses should be directed to the hotels themselves.
