Deals website in the mix for awards

LAW firm Turner Parkinson’s pioneering digital deals service is in the running for two awards. 

The Manchester practice launched TP Deals last autumn as a match-making service for business buyers and sellers.

It has grown in popularity and now sends a weekly round-up of new businesses and properties for sale to more than 4,000 business owners and deal-makers.

TP Deals has been shortlisted in the innovation in practice and marketing/ business development categories at the Managing Partners Forum 2009 European Practice Management awards.

Bridge Street-based Turner Parkinson is the only Manchester professional firm to be shortlisted.

Managing partner Mark Openshaw-Blower said:  “The TP Deals website has proved to be a real success since it was set up last year. It has provided professionals and businesses owners with a stage to advertise and browse businesses and properties for sale, and has helped encourage deal flow in the North West.

“We are delighted that the success of TP Deals has been acknowledged by the Managing Partners Forum and its judging panel.”

The awards ceremony will be held at the Marriott Grosvenor Square on October 21.
